Mission Statement
To alleviate poverty in Haiti by helping small business owners to expand their knowledge, services, and goods
through micro credit finance.

Objective
Our primary objective is to increase awareness of poverty in Haiti among the general public. We believe that
we are all inter-dependent and that increasing prosperity in international communities will contribute to peace
and harmony across the planet.

Services
New Haiti Foundation Inc gives a free interest loan to small-scale entrepreneurs in Haiti who are still considered
to be poor by modern day standards that struggle to make a living on day-to-day basis selling things like charcoal,
and rice. $200 US dollars will be distributed to qualifying vendors and business owners

Why Microcredit
New Haiti foundation believes that is better to teach a man/woman how to fish instead of giving him/her a hand
out. Once that individual has been giving the loan he will be self sufficient, and no longer in need of constant assistance. The microcredit system teaches the client the responsibility of how to manage their finances.

Method
New Haiti foundation gives out a loan to qualifying business owners with an expectation of repayment in full without interest. Every client has their own time period for repayment.

Why give loans to very poor people in the western hemisphere
In Haiti access to small amount of credit at reasonable interest rates it’s impossible for the poor to get access to,
New Haiti allows poor to move from initial, perhaps tiny income-generating activities to small microenterprise.

Traditional nonprofit organizations give a hand out to the poor for a quick fix, microcredit allows families to work
to end their own poverty with dignity, Microcredit programs around the world using a variety of models; have
shown that poor people achieve strong repayment records.

Our Vision For The Future

New Haiti Foundation is working to give the people of Haiti the working chance they need. Our vision is to help millions of people help themselves out of poverty by providing them with the opportunity to grow their small, self-sustainable businesses. New Haiti Foundation values the impact that a small amount of money can have on the lives of the poor. We believe in starting small, small steps lead to big change.
